Introduction
Ian has experience in all the major areas of criminal law most notably Murder, Manslaughter and Serious Violence offences as well as Drug Trafficking and Firearms cases. He has particular expertise in cases involving informants and undercover operations, conspiracy, Youth Justice, Public Interest Immunity and Fraud.
He regularly acts for the defence and prosecution and has wide ranging advocacy experience gained in the Crown Court and the Court of Appeal.
Ian has recently served as an elected member of the Bar Council.
